Andrew Schiffrin

Andrew spent more than two decades investing in public markets, managing portfolios at leading hedge funds, including Schonfeld Strategic Advisors, Balyasny Asset Management, and S.A.C. Capital. He began his investing career at York Capital Management, where he became Co-Portfolio Manager of the York Global Value Fund. Andrew brings an institutional investment perspective and rigorous process to advising individuals and families, with an emphasis on thoughtful capital allocation and portfolio construction, disciplined risk management, and creative solutions to complex balance sheet and wealth management challenges.

Before becoming an investor, Andrew practiced corporate law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and worked in investment banking at Bear Stearns. His experience across law, corporate finance, and institutional investing provides a distinctive framework for advising clients on complex financial decisions and the stewardship of long-term capital.

Andrew earned his J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where he was a Florence Allen Scholar, and his Bachelor of Science, with Great Distinction, from McGill University.

Andrew lives in New York City with his family.
