Managing Director Emeritus, Strategies for Wealth
I believe that you will always be rewarded if you create value for others first. For me, success is not measured in awards or accolades, but in the quality of relationships and the conversations that lead to improved happiness and well-being. Above all, it’s measured in the incremental success of those around me. Helping and inspiring people to become the best possible versions of themselves has been the defining point of my career.
Having started my career as a middle school teacher, I learned that my innate ability to provide positive reinforcement would play an ongoing role in helping people overcome their limiting beliefs. Over the next 45+ years in the financial planning industry, I have remained committed to doing everything possible to help our financial professionals and our clients create and leverage more possibilities for themselves and their loved ones.
The culture of collaboration that we’ve built at Strategies for Wealth is something I’m particularly proud of. Over time I have watched the firm grow exponentially and evolve from a group of individuals to a true team. I am lucky to work with an extraordinary group of people who are willing to share their successes and vulnerabilities to help us grow stronger together and deliver a stellar experience for our clients. With the help and wisdom of my partners, we’ve succeeded in creating a community that prioritizes and celebrates the well-being of others. Ultimately, this is what distinguishes our firm from the rest of the industry.
When I’m not in the office, I do my best to ensure the happiness of my wife Audrey, children Julie and Evan, daughter-in-law Maxie and granddaughter Rose. I’m an avid golfer, but I prioritize the camaraderie of the sport over improving my actual skills. I treasure the many friendships I’ve developed over the years, especially our countless conversations about how to live life to the fullest.
